I think this would have been cool to do like they did i think around 99 with woods and duval. Wide world of sports special. But then again the censorless aspect of PPV will be fun if they actually talk a little $hit.

My only concern would be pace of play but I don't think we'd really hold anyone up. Probably get a few wtf looks hahaha

Not sure how to title the thread so that's what I got. Anyone do any fun golf game variations with your normal crew. Not gambling or anything. For example, my buddies and I were talking about some fun ways to change up the routine and we came up with choosing whatever 3 clubs you wanted my choices would 6/7 iron, 56 and putter and then playing a round from the forward tees. Anyone ever do this? Stupid idea? Let me know or share your suggestions for us.

It’s gonna take a hell of a lot lawsuits. Most of us alive today would never see this day. However the grounds keepers at my course do wear hard shelled sun hats while working.

Correct. I was referring to the working of the ball. Curving the ball in a specific direction.

You still have to come across the ball to create the spin though, right? Just open at impact would just shoot the ball right not really curve it? I’m also going to go check out that link thanks.

I see. I didn’t know that. I figured a fade had to be hit outside in. Where would you consider the line of fade bs slice? Like a 12 foot curve is still a fade but 15 foot curve is a slice or does amount not matter as much as the intent. Like I meant to fade it 25 feet vs oh shit I sliced it. Not sure if that makes sense.

I’m sure most of us not including guys like you that are legit swing coaches/ instructors would agree that everything we were taught early was inside out hit a draw. Not many commercials out there promoting outside in swing path trainers.

Why did the draw become the “proper/correct” swing over the fade? Even now all you is the correct path is inside out? The fade and draw are the same thing just opposite curvitures(obviously). So what made the draw correct and the fade “amateur”?

Do you think it was money based or spite based. He didn't seem to get the same treatment as tiger and Dustin. I mean tiger and Dustin both have prototypes named for them. This is just speculation/ guessing on my part. The Honma irons do look nice though.

No they shouldnt. I feel they are just a byproduct of the game and the caddy should be on his/ her game letting his boss know that "hey the landing area from 235- 245 is pretty chunked up, either land short or fly them to give us the best lie up there." -

What's up guys will be in the Monterey area Nov 30- Dec 2. Was gonna try and play Saturday the 1st at the bayonet or black horse course. Prob a my the black horse course because it's supposedly not as narrow 😁

So here's what happened. Nothing serious it was just a fun tourney but it got me thinking. Course was waaaaayyyyyyyyy over watered. We were on a par 5, going for it in 2. Hit my second shot and it hit the outside face of a greenside bunker. Buried. Maybe the top 5th of the ball above ground level. I saw it and was like damn. It was buriieeddddd.

Is that only in play on fairways? Like if the course is extremely soggy and you hit the ball into the second/ third cut off the fairway are you just SOL or do the rules apply in the rough as well?

He’s just perfected the robot swing. He looks just like the testing machines companies use. Simple and perfectly effective.

Do they make a shaft “that makes putts” for you 😂😂 just kidding. But I had no idea there was different putter shaft flexes. So with that where do you think a putter shaft would match up to.
