  1. Stone Brooke in Shakopee, Minnesota has a par 4 over water where you hit your tee shot, then drive your cart onto a small boat that takes you to the other side. Its a beautiful course.
  2. I shot a 92 yesterday, my best round ever. Still a hacker but it felt good.
  3. I am a hacker but yesterday I shot my lowest round ever by 7 shots. needless to say, Im pumped.
  4. we were there a few years ago. Checked out the pro shop, looked around but didn't play. Beautiful place. If you decide not to play, stopping there is still aa cool experience.
  5. bought these a couple years ago and said goodbye to driving to the gym and gym fees..
  6. the course I live on and most the courses here offer free rounds to employees. Best of luck to you!
  7. I found the windshirt I bought at Pebble Beach a few years ago. It's a Christmas Miracle!
  8. my job has changed this year, I will have 3 day weekends every week so here are my goals.. 1. Average below 100 for the year. 2. Find a league on Mondays to belong to 3. go on a road trip with a few buddies where we play at least 3-4 rounds 4. Get a part time job at the course I live on so I can golf for free
  9. yeah I walked real slowly towards him and told him to "stay." He's a great dog, the first dog I ever owned.
  10. my wife got me a Rottweiler about ten years ago. He's real mellow and laid-back. Her aunt is a dog groomer and cautioned us against getting a cable to tie him up but I did anyways. We were having our family reunion at our house and we were up on the deck and had him tied up in the yard. A toddler from the neighbors house wandered into our yard and Harley walked around him and when I looked down, the cable was wrapped loosely around the child's neck. If Harley had taken off running, the child would have been decapitated. I told Harley "stay" and he did and I walked down. Needless to say the cable got thrown out that day. I'm a retired cop and have been in more than my share of confrontations but that one still makes me pause when I recall it.
