It’s still interesting to me that their differentials were better on more difficult courses, but now that you posted that, with reflection I see that in my own scores. That’s how I’m interpreting it

I’m surprised by that chart - if I’m interpreting that correctly, they scored better on the more difficult courses. I guess that’s because the extra strokes don’t penalize them as much in the tougher courses?

Definitely recommend you taping it, but it would not likely be helpful for you to see it. Better to have someone who knows what your biggest issue is make corrections… I don’t watch myself fail at a skill and hope to get better; I suppose I could, but makes more sense to seek advice/recommendations who are professionals. That’s why they’re there.

Good one! In the spirit of being original, while yours is clearly better, I guess my next choice would be lag putting specialist. If the putt is not made on first putt, the leave will always be a “gimme” no matter how long the first putt was.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what’s happened over past year…3-putt stats markedly better while GIR dropped, no improvement in overall scores. There’s always next year. Hoping to make it to 3.4-3.6 while improving GIR ☺️

Haven’t done the math yet, but I feel like 0.6 is prob close

@iacas, any experience with playing into artificial greens (not putting)…thinking about approaches landing and holding the greens vs bouncing off

I really liked the video. I have the same sort of “driving” chip motion that RS did and so this was certainly different. I agree that the length of his new arc would make me uncomfortable for a green side chip. I’ll have to give it go and work on this for a bit.

Whatev’s -I didn’t mischaracterize anything. I said the player had been penalized n the past and lost matches because of it. In this instance, the reason she was DQ is because she wouldn’t sign the card, because she was penalized for her slow play. Her being penalized for slow play had consequences for her. That was the point of my post. I’ll grant you that the technical reason she was DQ’d was failure to sign the card but the cause of her actions was her being penalized for her slow play. My allusion to her losing other matches due to penalty strokes is because she actually lost other matches due to the penalty strokes received during those rounds…not because she didn’t sign those score cards. My whole point was that she was penalized for her slow play and that the TOUR should take some lessons. Not sure why you’re splitting hairs with my post but if it makes you feel better, sure.
