  1. Me too. Although I replaced the grip in a hurry.
  2. But, once you download your courses, they're yours forever. There's no reason to renew your annual fee, unless you plan on adding new courses every year.
  3. Depends on how much info you want/need. If you're looking for front/middle/bac, highly recommend the Bushnell Neo.
  4. I do too - especially since I threw on an oversized Winn AVS grip. Great combo. Doesn't feel the best -- and sounds awful -- but the putts go where they're supposed to.
  5. Have you thought about a YES! or Rife putter? The grooves get the ball rolling sooner - and bouncing or skidding less. Plus, the Rife has very low loft.
  6. I got my i10s in a week ... but the grips took over 2 weeks.
  7. I would recommend going in to get fitted. I was like a white using static, but my fitting put me at a black.
  8. Funny, I preferred when it was the Ping Anser.
  9. http://scratchgolf.com/ Affordable, custom-made forged wedges. And FANTASTIC customer service.
  10. If you've only been playing for a year, you probably don't have a set, repeatable swing built yet. Before being custom fitted for clubs, you should probably build a consistent swing, and then get fitted. Otherwise, your swing may change drastically, and then your left with a very expensive bag of misfit clubs.
  11. Honestly, as a 19 handicapper, I doubt your swing is consistent enough from round to round to even notice a 2º change in your irons. Would the pro be trying to sell you a set of Mizunos and be willing to make the changes to get "optimal launch angle" for a small fee?
  12. This may be the oddest post I've ever read on the sandtrap.
  13. Have you considered Scratch? Great clubs, and the best customer service in the business. http://scratchgolf.com/products/08-clearance/
  14. I'm 6-5 and use a 33" putter.
  15. Why would someone need a stimp meter? Just out of curiosity.
  16. Or here: http://ironfinder.com/
  17. I've banged balls on driving ranges for almost 30 years and never damaged a club. Sounds like clubmakers trying to cover their rear ends in case their heads break.
  18. In Iowa, it's a tee.
  19. Top left - Driver & 3-iron Top right - 3-wood & 4-iron Middle left - 4,5,6 irons Middle right - 7,8,9 irons Bottom left - GW, SW Bottom right - LW, P
  20. Love the B-stones, but chances are, they'll be gone before September.
  21. Any opinions on which is better in the battle of $150 gps?
  22. I just switched from rangefinder to GPS. Thought the rangefinder was a pain to use, especially when it was really calm and the flag was limp. What I'm saying is, to each his own. I will say my locally owned golf shop has a great deal. You can demo a rangefinder (Bushnell V2) or a GPS (SkyCaddie) for 2 days for $20 each. The $20 (or $40 if you demo both) is then credited back to you for the purchase of whatever you choose. Pretty easy way to make up your mind.
  23. Forged•are softer than cast, therefore the difference in feel, not workability. GI irons -- cavity backs -- tend to correct spin to make shots straighter, making it harder to turn them over. Blades will not•make any corrections to spin, therefore, you get what you hit without a correction towards the middle.
  24. The new ones are. The G2 are not.
