Played $47 a Dozen Pro V1s and $19 a Dozen Callaway Super Softs and had great games with both. Most balls today are built well. The best balls are the "OP" brand... "Other Peoples" or found balls. A lot of Pro Vs end up in the ditch and the woods.

I got some of the "As see on TV" glasses that block the glare. They don't have much tint, but work great. $15 at Walmart. They work great in low light, because of the light tint. Love them.

Didn’t this happen to Arnie Palmer during one of his early Majors. He played it both ways and had to wait until the end of the round to find out if he pared or double boogied the hole. Ken Venture was whining about it, because it cost him the win.

I keep my own score and let the others play anyway they want. If they want to play fantasy golf that's on them. Life is easier when you stop trying to get people to do what you want them to. Some time back, my buddy brought along his hot shot son and the kid was taking Gimmies and Mulligans and bragging about all the Pars and Birdies. I tried to be Zen about it, but it really bothered me. The definition of a Gimmie... A mutual agreement between two lousy putters.

Put the ring on your Key Chain. I also don't like wearing a ring while playing. It pinches and is a distraction.
