I think, almost anyone, with any swing....can play 80s, it only need more practice on course...to sharpen their short game. friend of my friend can play 80s with consistent big slice ball flight. He adjust his setup alignment to more left of the target.

bit frankly... if my objective is single handicap, it will cost me more money...especially for play regularly at course. if my objective is dead straight shot, it cost me less...because driving range are cheaper than course. And I can even play in the house with softer ball. If I can play single handicap score but I can't hit consistently straight ball....I feel I still missing some thing inside me. I am sure any single handicap player is must be good at short game. for score, I will be happy if I can play at 80's.

If my objective was score, I would take a good coach and practice regularly. My 'nonsense crazy objective' now is have consistent straight ball flight, no fade, no draw, no side spin. I just obsessed to find my own swing, inspired by Moe. I don't know, maybe one day I can share my video about my straight 'consistent swing and ball flight’....or maybe I failed in that journey. But either way I enjoy the journey.

yup, sorry my camera angle was bad. I forget to bring my gopro + tripod. It was just put camera phone on the top on my bag, and leave it for hours. The reasons for bad camera angle: 1. I was heavily more concentrate to my swing....to find reasonably STRAIGHT and more importantly: CONSISTANT swing & ball flight. 2. I forget to bring my gopro WILL do better next time. "Aside from having handle far from belt line what do you do that you consider to be Moe inspired?" My answers: 1. At the top of my backswing, I pulling hard my left hand as Moe mention. 2. Straight ball flight, No fade, No draw, I think no side spin. Thank you a lot for your attention...

Finally, I think I've got my final swing, yes it inspired by Moe Norman swing. More consistant and more accurate ball flight. Will update the full swing video at next range session, meanwhile watch this pitching indoor video:

Updated, why always have somethings to be fixed... 1. I shouldn't lift my (left) feet at impact. 2. Keep my balance. 3. No chicken wing (thanks to Backyard Golfer) I think I can fix that all three with one stone: create some lag in my back swing.

I couldn't make this clean and straight ball flight with double swing plane. IT IS my FIRST day at range right after I change the MAIN CONCEPT of swing thought of Moe Norman's swing. And sure....it have much more space for improvement. I didn't said which one is better than another, just pick swing that put smile on your face 🙂

Thank you RussUK, I have watched Kirk Junge and Graves videos, and last week just found eureka moment with it (video in upper post).

Sorry the video is only ball flight not my swing, since it was my first day with the "right" Moe Norman's swing...so I just want to enjoy the eureka moment first (not thinking about video shot angle etc.), and I think the best part of Moe Norman's swing is the ball flight. I will update my swing in the next video. I hope I can break 90 with this swing in my next game. My biggest hazard in golf is not sand, not water but.....cash 😄 I've been Playing Golf for: 10 years (on and off) My current handicap index or average score is: 100 My typical ball flight is: straight The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: topping Videos:

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it... I like the view, it trees, an empty course...it weather...I like it In my country, I dont have an empty course like that (especially at weekend).....and of course I dont have weather like that. :)

congrats for Rory, ....and Bryson Dechambeau must be doing some right thing (right swing maybe?) to become this far in relatively short time.

Thanks RussUK for the input, yes, I aware of that I lack of weight forward when swinging........this is my FIRST home work. (this on is a MUST). Wrist hinge, or lag......will be my next home work. (It could be optional, but lag are good for distance).
