  1. oh... well thanks... haha..
  2. Wow.. 43 views and not one thing to say about my swing?? Wow...
  3. I apologize. Here are the photo bucket links. Sorry they are kinda long. I had no one to hold my camera for me and I couldn't figure out how to edit them. 4. Here's a link to 4 video's of my swing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. No HUGE problems, just a few bad shots. When they are bad they usually fade off to the right. Thank you!! Link: http://www.swingacademy.com/searchresults.aspx
  5. I have never played at a course that makes you replace the divot, but all have sand to fill them in with.
  6. Added one more view of my swing. Any input would be nice, and greatly appreciated.
  7. Not having any major issues, but I am curious about what you guys think. Please feel free to give any advice or criticism. I know cargo shorts and a tee-shirt aren't exactly golf attire, but I live on base and the range here is right around the corner. Just decided to randomly go. 8. If it's a good lie: 4I Bad Lie: Punch it up the fairway and put the trust in my short game.
  9. My club pro recently handed me 3 of the Zero Friction tee's right before I went out to play a round. I like them, but not for a change in distance or control, I just like the fact that they do not break. I've been using the same one now for 3 weeks. They're a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it.
  10. Sounds to me like a swing issue, not a ball issue. Take a look at your swing. V1x's are a great ball, and I've never lost distance by switching balls. Unless I'm in my back yard hitting foamy balls.
  11. Very interesting find. Could be helpful to get some people out of their slumps. Thanks!
  12. I'm the same way. Once I start to get out of my rhythm my game starts to dwindle. I start to force myself to take a few practice swings before I actually address my ball. It gets my mind in the right place and I will hit a solid, well placed shot about 85% of the time. Rhythm seems to be my process. Good luck!
  13. When I was younger I hit a bad 3-wood shot off a tee. I got mad, of course, had to slam my club on something and for some odd reason chose the pole holding the top of the cart up. I swung, hit the pole, the shaft of the club broke and the head wrapped around and hit my hand, broke 2 knuckles. Needless to say, I have never hit another pole...
  14. Don't let the game beat you. Take a week off, chill out, watch some Golf Channel and see if you can figure out what's wrong on your own. If you go out to the range, don't get mad and work on your fundamentals. We all reach that point in our game where we think "maybe I should just quit, I'm not getting any better" but, like someone already said it's a sign of a big break-out coming up. Just stick with it and enjoy the game..
  15. Nice!! I agree though, you need a few more scores in the system to really tell what your handicap is. If it stays right there, you seriously need to take some lessons and think about playing in a few tournaments. Start looking at "Q-School" and the Nationwide Tour. Congrats on a great start though!!
  16. Glad to be here. The name's Mike, I'm currently stationed in South Georgia. I play 1-2 times a week either on base or down at Stone Creek in Valdosta. Low handicapper, but there's always room for improvement. I play with fairly old clubs (the ones I used in high-school) but am looking for a good iron set right now. Any ideas let me know. Nice to meet ya'll..
  17. Based on competition and technology alone, I would have to say Tiger. Take Jack in his "hay-day" and Tiger in his best days and Tiger will win 9 out of 10 times, guaranteed.
  18. http://www.gagolf.com/ Stone Creek Golf Club, Valdosta Ga..
  19. US Air Force. I play once or twice a week..
