    Yesterday I almost got a six on a par 5 but I sank a 35-foot putt to keep the challenge alive.

    Yesterday when I was taking a chip shot in my backswing my hat flew off my head and I ended up shanking the shot and almost losing my hat.

    This is from another round, but we can focus on this round. My putting is bad because of speed control. I either hit the ball too light or too fast. I also don't know how to read greens.

    It depends how far you are out and what kind of lie you have. Bunker: Sand Wedge (54 - 58 Degrees) Fringe: Putter, Lob Wedge, Hybrid, Wood, Driver (These can be used as a putter) You can use a bump and run which is to land it short and let it run.

    I only hit 1 hook out of the 6 holes I used driver, I just need to work on my putting now. My putting is where I'm losing a lot of strokes.

    I ended up shooting a 42 on a par 36 because of my putting.

    I just try to hit the ball straight and far. I sometimes play a draw in high winds. The weird thing is, at the driving range I hit it fine, but at the course, I hit a hook. I'll check that today as well.

    I am in high school and have my first golf match tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous. Off the tee, my shots with any wood or driver hook right (I am a lefty) and I can't seem to fix it. I've been trying to fix it for a while now, any tips to stop hooking it. Thanks
