Thinking about picking up the Sean Foley DVD, The Next Generation. My questions is, do these dvds really work or is it better to just go to a local PGA pro? Reason being is that I like his swing philosophy and overall curious to see what he can teach me, and hey let's face it, I can use some help :) At $35, it's a great price especially if you can benefit from it. What's your opinion, thanks!

Did anyone else hear that?! He was 248 from the pin on a par 5 during the second round of the Dubai Classic and hit 4 iron over the flag!! Couldn't have been yards...could it?!

What role does the left hand play in the swing? Do you actively rotate it through impact to square the club face? Or does it close naturally through your swing by moving your bigger muscles?

Im just hoping for a strong showing from Tiger. I'm an avid golf follower and watch tournaments with or without him, but you can't deny the excitement when he's in contention and playing well. GO TIGER!!

I've had this problem before and went back to hitting chips and pitch shits since they are just a smaller version of the full swing. Focus on technique and shoulder turn and hopefully that works for you, did for me.

I've just realized that I have a habit of lifting my head bait thru impact, a la David Duval or Annika Sorenstam. I consider myself a pretty decent ball striker but am considerably better when my head is down, any tips? Thanks!

I hit my irons and wedges fairly high, dont have a problem getting them up at all, but my woods and driver dont seem to get to high up. any reason why? thanks

Tried a search but couldn't find too much. I've been hitting my drives pretty low lately, woods too! Some are normal height but some almost just are like low screamers. What's the reason for this?

I've read that there are a few ways to control distance witg your irons. The clock method is a popular one, where you control the amount in your backswing. Then there is trajectory, full shots, half shots, low shots, punch shots. I read somewhere in an article with Furyk, and he said that the choke down method is what he uses, he said in his experience it's like 7 yards for every inch choked down or something.

So just to be clear, I am actively applying pressure to my right middle index joint to the ball at impact?

I'm currently reading the book, it's great. The only thing I don't quite understand is the grip portion. What does he mean when he is talking about the pressure point of your middle index finger joint on your right hand?

Im cutting off about 1.25 inches to a 44'5 inch driver. Would i be using lead tape to adjust for the swingweight? Where do you apply it? Thanks
