what i can't stand from any golfer good or bad, is when they toss their putter in the air after a missed putt thinking for sure they will catch it and end up missing it!! leaves a nasty mark on the green!! everyone knows that when you throw your clubs you throw them into the woods or water!!! jk

yes it should have to be in the fairway to qualify. you also might want to make sure you have a marshal monitoring the hole. the words scramble and cheat are s ynonymous (sp?)

Im sure some of you may have already read this somewhere, but i got it in an e-mail today and thought i would pass it along. Golf In my hand I hold a ball.... white and dimpled, rather small.... Oh , how bland it does appear.... this harmless looking little sphere.... By its size I could not guess.... the awesome strength it does possess.... But since I fell beneath its spell.... I've wandered through the fires of hell.... My life has not been quite the same.... Since I chose to play this stupid game.... It rules my mind for hours on end... A fortune it has made me spend... It has made me swear and yell and cry.... I hate myself and want to die.... It promises a thing called par.... If I can hit straight and far.... To master such a tiny ball.... should not be very hard at all ... But my desires the ball refuses.... and does exactly like it chooses.... It hooks and slices, dribbles and dies.... and even disappears before my eyes.... Often it will take a whim.... to hit a tree or take a swim... With miles of grass on which to land.... it finds a tiny patch of sand.... Then has me offering up my soul.... if only it would find the hole.... It's made me whimper like a pup.... and swear that I will give it up.... And take a drink to ease my sorrow.... but the ball knows..... I'll be back tomorrow!!!!

yeah sometimes you just gotta swallow your pride and yell FORE! getting hit and almost getting hit are two different things, it easy to let it go when it dosent hit you.

i agree with you on the ball striking, but knowing how to get out of trouble is important too, wouldnt you agree? i played with a guy the other day would was awesome ball striker, but even he found himself missing the fairway from time to time. KNOWING how to get out of trouble is a lot better than GUESSING. IMO

get rid of the back up beeper! my friends still find it hilarious to put the cart in reverse right in the middle of my back swing!

Hong Kong is not considered "Main Land" China. Basicly the more "Simple" the design of a club, for example a blade style iron or muscle back design with little to no emblems made of plastic will look better and wont fall apart so to speak. The technology in an R11 would be impossible to duplicate from reversed engineered drawings and inferior metals and shafts. IMO.

just stay focused and work hard! i know it should cliche but its true, its easy to lose the drive to get really good. i would also recommend that you spend A LOT of time gettin out of trouble. Fairway bunkers, deep rough, bad lies, all those things..... good luck on your journey to scratch.

i dont have ADHD myself but my best friend does. and when we play its not really an issue till it comes time for some short game/putting. sometimes he will line up a shot and back off and re line up a few times (more than the norm). i tell him him "Just trust your instincts man, dont second guess your self" it works the majority of the time but some times the ADHD gets the best of him and he ends up making a bad shot.
