270-180 leaves 90 in vs tryin to smash a 3 wood that goes out of bounds and you take a penalty stroke? Like i said to play good golf you need a mix of both accuracy and distance. To the op, If your hitting it 240 off the tee in the fairway thats excellent. You might wanna move up a set of tees to make the game more fun instead of being 200 plus out on par 4's. Especially if your not breaking pars.

I'D say my average distance for each putt that day was 8 feet. Had 1 tap in the rest were all from about 8-10 feet. I had 25 putts that round so obviously my putter was red hot but i also hit 75 percent of fairways but only 50 percent of the greens. Shot 70. I did birdie all 4 par 5's. I thought that was pretty badass lol.

Distance is less important that accuracy. You need a mix of both but i'll take accuracy over distance any day of the week.

Distance doesnt do you any good if your ob or in the tree's. Try backin down a bit and playing more control. 275 in the short grass beats 290 from the bushes.

I Think the exact same thing. Especially when 20 plus handicappers are hittin there 5 iron what i hit my 3 and they out drive me by 30 plus yards. That must be cause mine is only 270 average but its in the fairway 60 percent of the time. Your carry distances are close to mine. I have you beat by about 10 yards on the longer clubs but our hanicap's are the exact same. lol.

Uh 3 degrees on a 250 plus yard club is pretty huge.

Yes it is. 18 deg voodoo shaft stiff. I've hit some killer shots with this club over the few years i've owned it. If i absolutely must hit a fairway this is my go to club.

I play the 909 F3 5 wood. Have had it for almost 2 years. This is truely one of the best fairway woods ever made in my opinion. I can hit it off the deck out of the rough off the tee. It yields about 235 distance wise and it's a smaller more compact head. You will love it. All titelist clubs are worth what you pay for them.

Well ideally you wanna play the least stiff shaft you can get away with without accuracy suffering. The 2.9 is a very low kick point so it will give a lower ball flight. but honestly if your 120 plus swing speed you need a x-stiff shaft.

Did you get a stiff shaft or x-stiff? The rip is a 200 dollar shaft if you buy it new by itself. It's a very good shaft imop. I play that same driver.

Mine was this past saturday. Number 15. 565 yard par 5. Hit my drive. Had 267 left slightly down hit. Dont have a 3 wood at the moment so i hit my 5 trying to lay up. Got about 35 yards of roll and ended up on the green 25 ft away. Sank the eagle put. Best part was i shot 74 playin with the gf. Needless to say i was on saturday.

I do the same with my gf as well. We play mini golf alot in the summer and its pretty competitive between us. Mini golf is badass.

I golf with my gf. She has a very good swing but no power. Alot of the times she plays off my tee ball. But she absolutly loves to play and its fun for both of us.

How long has it been since you had back surgery? What kind of surgery was it? I had a decompression done 4 years ago on L4-l5. No matter what you do golf is gonna irritate you back. Best thing that helps me is working out/ stayin active and ib profuen before i play. I've got my back and core pretty strong now and most days its like i never had an injury. Played yesterday 36 holes no problems. Little soreness but i feel great.

Ok, so here lately I'm playin army golf with my 3 wood and Driver. I have no idea which way its going off the tee. But here's the funny part. It only starts after about 3 holes and i can Still hit my 5 wood and 3iron or 3 hybrid just fine off the tee. I play my normal 5 yard cut with them. My main miss is a low almost top that goes either right or left. I have a normal mid to high ball flight. Any idea's? I've got a lesson scheduled for next week but was gonna see if anybody had any idea's?

My first one was about 6 months ago. #18 505 par 5. Drove the ball behind a tree on the right side of the rough. Had 215 left and i had enough room to draw the ball around the tree. Ball landed just short of the green and rolled up to about 6 feet. Made the putt. Best thing about it was i normally almost always play a 5 yard fade. Had 2 good friends playing with me that day that were more excited than i was when i hit that shot.

I normally play from the tee's that would make the course the most fun. Which is normally the back tee's. Hittin driver/wedge into every par 4 is no fun.

I'LL have to disagree with you on the R11s Fairway. Mine feels pretty hot and i picked up maybe 10 yards over my old R9 3 wood. But its whatever performs the best for each player. Everybody is different.
