My father had been playing with my Taylormade set of clubs.  So he comes home one day and say's he stopped by golfsmith and bought some "stuff"

I'm like oh, he probably picked up some tee's or whatever.

Dude bought

Callaway- XR Driver

Callaway- XR 5-Wood

Callaway- XHot 3,4 hybrid

Callaway- XHot Irons

and a Ping Anser 2 Putter.

"I thought these looked good so I bought them."

We had to go back to the store later so he could buy a bag...because he assumed mine had room for that many more clubs.

Nice buy!  As far as a bag, I'm really liking the 14-slot bag I'm using.  I never did like the 6-way only with clubs clacking together all the time.

Also keep in mind, you might be paying for golf until 'dad' gets back on his feet after that massive purchase!!!  Hope he plays well with the new sticks.

He ended up buying a Titleist(14 way stand bag) like mine.  The Callaway bags ended up being way to top heavy.

yup...... got a tee time scheduled for super twilight this Friday at Timber Creek Golf Club(Houston).....and I'm paying.  Thankfully the man doesn't drink, so I at least got that going for me.
