I'm looking to buy a 54* wedge as it will fill the gap im missing for specific distance and the one wedge i have right now is prehistoric and there is no grooves to be found it like a flat face lol. Which one do you think would be best from your own thoughts and experience and if you can post reasons why that would be great

I recommend you to get Titleist spin milled Vokey design wedges. I use em and I can spin the ball easily and land the ball softly practically from any lie.

Vokey Spin Milled. Although I made a mistake getting 12* bounce on my 58*. I have trouble hitting it from firm fairway.
What I Play:

I just bought a 54* TaylorMade wedge with 10* bounce. I like the club but I dont understand the whole "bounce" concept. Could someone explain that?

Bounce is what keeps the club from digging into the ground or sand. The more bounce, the less it will dig.

If you are looking specifically for a 54 with 8 degrees of bounce, the cleveland cg12 has a 54 with eight degrees of bounce. Otherwise, I would suggest the vokey 54.10. All around great wedge.

I think Lange was telling me it was a Toss up between the CG 12, the Z TP and the Vokey. How would you guys rate them from best-worse? I'd go:

Yeah, a TaylorMade, Titleist, Cleveland, even Mizuno...there are a lot of nice wedges out there.

You can't really go wrong with any of these. They are all great wedges that will allow you to do what you want on the course. Just pick one that has the specs and feel that you like and practice up!

I bought a couple of vokeys (56-10 & 60-08)sm on ebay at the start of this year and I love them, a whole lot more confident over those partial wedge shots than I ever was before.

There are so many out there that you should just try them.

I like the Titleist and Mizuno. I have not yet tried the Cleveland, but I am not opposed to it.
