Galvin Green vs. Zero Restriction

After 15 years it is time to replace my Zero Restriction rain suit. When I play in Europe I notice that Galvin Green has become the preferred brand. They certainly make sharper looking gear but at a higher price.

Anyone have an opinion on which is better?

Re: Galvin Green vs. Zero Restriction

Never seen Zero Restriction but Galvin Green are brilliant. If you can afford them.

Playing in Ireland - it can be bitterly cold in winter - the waterproof trousers are essential if you want to keep warm and dry. I bought a wet-suit in 2006 for 400EUR (200 for jacket, 200 for trousers) that's about 550 USD in total. I've probably used the trousers 100's of times and have gotten great wear out of them. If you play a lot of golf, it's worth it.

Galvin Green is great and that is what i use. i prefer not to play in the rain, but if i am a few holes to finish i will put my suit on. if i am half way, i would just stop and continue when the rain stops.
