hey guys, i recently demoed a cobra l5v from golfers warehouse. i thought it was an okay driver but still had the typical cobra sound at impact. What do you guys think of it? would you buy it for 400 bucks?

Well ive hit it and I saw no difference between it and the l4v. I think the l4v is the best driver on the market and you should be able to find it at a good price.

I have not hit it, but I am very happy a company made moveable shaft technology relativley affordable (Ummm... Callaway, Taylormade $1000 drivers). Also the viarable face technology is pretty sweet too. I think it is deffinately worth the money.

I haven't hit it but it looks very similar to the L4V which I have hit at a demo day. It looks like just another example of Manufacturers rushing out new models every 12 months (or more frequently in some cases) which quickly devalues the clubs already owned by their loyal followers...

Now that my rant is out of the way, I agree with the other posters and think you should be able to get a great deal on a new L4V.

i didnt think it was great playing with it on course. i thought that the typical cobra feel and sound was a uge turn off. The ball just doesn't seem to jump off the face, unlike the taylormade r7 limited/tour burner or callaway ft-iq driver. which i love all 3.
