Hey guys, just wondering something about my irons.

I've noticed after playing these irons for the last 3 months, a very significant decrease in my iron distance.

I bought these on a whim as they were exactly the clubs I was looking for - atleast for what I paid. Anyhow, I had my ol trusty 690cb w/ tt dg s300 shaft out the other day at the field and I was hitting from goal post to goal post which I think is about 120 yards. I pulled out my 755 which is a very similar club in design to the 690cb for the life of me a full swing would net me maybe 90 yds. The ball seems to jump really high up really fast and doesn't have as much forward momentum.

What the hell is a matter with me? How am I (20 hdcp) hitting my old irons with stiff shafts better than my new irons with r flex shafts? Are these shafts notorious for flexing a lot or kicking the ball up unusually high. I need my 120 yds back lol.

Edit: For what it's worth I have about a 90 - 92 mph swing speed / faster tempo.

Have you been fitted for shafts? I would recomend this. i just had it done and got new shafts in my irons. Still needed a stiff just a lighter stiff. May not help you very much. I know going and getting put on a launch monitor help me a ton though..
