So I have a shot at a set of Mizuno 57's that are +1/2".

That puts the 6 iron at 37.75 and Im fitted for 37.5". Will this make much of a difference?

If not Im gonna buy them right now.

Thanks guys!

I think it depends on how they feel for you. I tried an iron that was +1/2" and it felt wierd for me. At address it didn't feel comfortable so I ended up having to choke up about 1/2" in order to make it feel right otherwise I ended up chunking it more frequently. This was just demo-ing the club though so it might be something that you could get used to?

I wouldn't want them 1/4" too short.....but a 1/4" long is no biggie.

I'd not have any qualms buying them...provide the flex and lie angle fit me correctly.

If you regrip your clubs yourself and you don't mind spending a little time with a tubing cutter then you could cut them down for the cost of the grips. I

seriously doubt 1/4" from the butt will make a difference in flex...

I think he's fitted for +1/4 so the +1/2 isn't as bad for him.
