Taylor made adjustable drivers and hybrids

I think I'm missing something. How is spinning the shaft changing anything? Isn't this the same as just turning the club in your hand? Does anybody have pictures of one of these clubs adjusted each way side by side to show the difference? Wouldn't the angle of the hosel also have to change? What am I missing. I went to the store and the salesman could only repeat what was in the ad, then scratch his head. (like I'm doing now.)

The adapter changes the angle of the hosel because the red part of it is slightly off axis. Just take one and roll it around on a table and it will roll like a warped pool cue rolls.

Driver: Ping g15 axivcore black stiff
3 wood: Cobra s9-1 f speed
Hybrids: 20* adams speedline classic round and 24*v1 peanut
Irons: Ping I5 5-pw
Wedges : cg14 50*,54* spin milled 58*Putter: Cameron newport detour

This. The part of the shaft that is in the hosel is a few degress angled. It is not pefectly straight with the rest of the shaft.
