Hi

I am going on honeymoon to NY and Vegas in early September.
Any advice on things I should do, places to eat, drink, shop etc?
Really looking for non tourist kind of off the beaten track type of places for food, pubs etc.
Any advice welcome

Thanks

I used to live in vegas, but im not quite sure what you want to know. If your going on your honey moon do you want romantic places only ? Anyways I would stay away from any hotel thats downtown you should for sure stay in one of the newer hotels like Ceasar'sor Newyork Newyork. As for a non-touristy place to go I'm not quite sure what your looking for I know of a few nice places off the beaten path but in all reality there nothing compared to a place you'd find on the strip. The truth is a lot of the tourist type stuff is the most fun for a vegas first timer, there are a lot of little *shows* on the strip they put on by the hour which are all pretty fun to see and there free. One show I would suggest is the Circus Olay* however you spell it - its simply amazing however that one isn't free. Thats all i could think of hope this helps.
