I have about 50 something prov1x's, but i dont want to use them in the winter b/c i feel like i would be wasting them in 30 degree weather.  I am going to get some new golf balls and was wondering what were the best golf balls for the cold weather, any suggestions?

I bought a dozen of the orange Bridgestone E6's for winter use. My home course has had lots of shady, frosty grass and the orange helps. Also softer compression is probably helping out a touch with distance.

Orange e6's area great option for any season, especially winter play. Not too expensive either!!

So far this winter, I have used the Srixon soft feels and D2 Feels and like them both.  Today it was about 48 and I used a TM Burner 2 piece and it worked great.  Lots of good 2 piece low compression balls out there that work great in the winter.  I have used balls I have found throughout the season to get me through the winter.  Come spring/summer, it is back to Gamer v2 or TM Reds.

In my Bagboy cart bag:
Driver: TM R11s 10.5 R-flex 3W: TM 09 Burner 3H: TM 09 Burner Irons: TM Tour Burner 4-PW r-flex
Wedges: Wilson TW9 GW, Ping Eye 2+ SW, Vokey SM 58.08      Putter:TM Rossa Spider Ball: TM TP/Red LDP, TF Gamer v2   Range Finder: GX-I

I was using the Srixon AD333 orange but they have this cheap plastic look to them so have just gone back to the normal ones.

I may look at the e6's people have mentioned

The schoolteacher was taking her first golfing lesson. "Is the word spelt p-u-t or p-u-t-t?" she asked the instructor. "P-u-t-t is correct," he replied. "Put means to place a thing where you want it. Putt means merely a vain attempt to do the same thing."

Try a Bridgestone TreoSoft ball. It's a 2 piece ball and is only about $20 a dozen. I got 2 dozen at Dick's for $30 on sale.
