I just ordered a Taylormade Rescue 11 (stiff) to replace my broken long iron. I hear a lot of tour players use this instead of a 3 iron now and was wondering if anyone uses a rescue club and if so, what is your opinion on it? I couldn't pass up the deal which is why I purchased it before hitting it.

IN MY BAG:

I have one and love it. (rescue 11). have had hybrids in the bag since the hogan cft came out, haven't carried a 3 iron in god knows how long and haven't carried a 4 iron for probably 4 years either.

I use my Rescue for about anything I can imagine. Off the tee, approaching greens, punch shots out when I'm stuck in the woods... It's a great club, and fairly forgiving as well. You can really tell when you hit it correctly and when you missed the center of the face.

I have played a round since purchasing the Taylormade Rescue 11 and....WOW!  I hit this club straigher and more consistent than any other club in my bag.  I was shocked at how easy it is to hit it.  Great club!!!
