Nike STR8-Fit Question

Thread Starter

I have come across a Nike STR8-Fit driver with a shaft I might want, but a driver head I don't.  It's very inexpensive.

I have also found a STR8-Fit driver with a head I'm interested in, but a shaft I don't want. It's also exceedingly inexpensive.

I have no first hand experience with STR8-Fit and just know that it's designed for easy adjustment of lie and face angle.

MY QUESTION:  Would it be a simple matter (if I had both clubs) to swap the heads, giving me the clubhead I want on the shaft I want?  Or does the STR8-Fit connection not actually detach completely?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the shaft completely disconnects from the head. As long as both clubs are STR8-fit it should be no problem to swap around. There is a STR8-fit Tour connection (VRPro line) that has 32 points of adjustment and there is the regular STR-8-fit that only has 8, don't know if the 2 are interchangeable.
