hey guys. i got one of those boxed sets a while ago planning to switch out the driver and putter and wedges. i have done this, however the bag that came with the set is not that great and has minimal amount of space in the pockets. im 14 and dont have an official job so im gonna need a cheap but good bag that can last high school golf (we walk). also how do you guys store your golf shoes. do you do it in your bag? also i dont have a car or can drive so when iget to the course i also need a way to keep my street shoes somewhere. any help would be great.

no i don't keep my shoes in my bag, and probably wouldn't.

Look for a hand me down or on sale carry bag.  I bet you know someone who's willing to get rid of one, or if you aren't too picky, you can get a good quality carry bag pretty cheap on closeout.

My personal favorites are sun mountain bags, which may cost you a bit more, but there are lots of good ones out there.

what is your price range? if you can spend $100, you can get a nice, used stand/carry bag on eBay. most stand bags have a side pocket big enough that can accommodate shoes - that would be a good question to ask an eBay seller before you purchase the bag.

There are some really nice light weight carry bags out there.  It really just depends on what you have to spend.

Check out the Nike Collegiate Carry.  This might be a good one for you.

Also, the Callaway Hyper-Lite bags are very good and check out Ogio also.  You can definitely find a good bag for less  than 100 bucks.
