What clubs are you currently using, and what type of club are you looking to switch to? Super Game Improvement, Game Improvement, Cavity Back, Blade?
The SGI irons are geared towards helping a beginner or someone with poorer ball striking get the ball in the air. GI irons (such as my Eye 2's) are designed to help the ball travel further and straighter on mishits, while assuming that the player has about average ball striking capabilities. Cavity Back irons are where you get into the "player's iron" category, with the cavity providing some extra forgiveness while retaining the overall same look as a blade. Blade irons are what pros generally use, and they are usually the hardest of the bunch to hit. Blades give you the most control over the ballflight, but are not designed with forgiveness in mind as much as other clubs. There is a gray area between GI irons and Cavity Back "player's" irons, but those are generally clumped together with the GI irons.
In regards to the "HL" that are stamped on the clubs, this normally refers to them being "high launch" and thus easier to get in the air, which likely places them in a SGI or GI category, depending on the club.'
Lastly, do you have any information about your swing, such as how you would subjectively rate your ball striking, your swing speed, and the shaft that is in the irons you currently use? These can all help you decide on what irons would work best for you.
