long irons/f-woods/hybrids - help

I love my 4 iron (callaway X20) but struggle with my Mizuno F-50 5 and 7 wood as well as my Sonartec hybrid 4w.
I looking for advice on a easy hitting fairway wood or Hybrid. I am needing some yards on those long 5's and 4"s.

I have never played with the Sonartec hybrid, although I understand that many better players use it. For those with a higher handicap, it is often recommended they try the Cobra Baffler DWS, one of the easiest clubs to hit. The Callaway Heavenwood hybrid is also an easy to hit club. One thing you may also consider is how you swing a hybrid compared to how you swing your irons and woods. I was taught to sweep my fairway woods off the fairway and strike down more with my irons. When I bought my first hybrid a couple of years ago, I couldn't hit it well. It took some practice before I could figure out the right swing to put in it. Now, I hit down with it more than my fairway woods, even taking a small divot sometimes, but I don't hit down on it as much as I do with my irons. I have found the hybrid club one of the best club inovations for the mid to high handicap golfer. On the other hand, I love my 5 and 7 woods. I guess I just learned to hit those clubs well. I replaced my 3 wood with a hybrid and I'm so glad I did. If I were starting from scratch, I'm not sure I would have any woods, though, as the hybrids are just so easy to hit consistently. Why don't you try Kasco Power Tornado espec, which is always a easy one to hit.

Thank you- I have heard the Baffler is a nice Hybrid - Any good info on Nickent or adams? I have also heard the 2007 Callaway Big Bertha is a great fairway wood.

I think you should keep your woods (at least one) and ditch your current hybrid. The reason that you should have at least one wood in your bag is so you can hit off the tee on a hole wit a tight fairway. As for hybrids, the best IMO are Adams idea pro, callaway x, nickent 3dx ironwood, TM burner rescue, and the titleist 585h.
You asked about adams and nickent so heres a small review on them:
Adams Idea Pro- more iron than wood, very playable, highest MOI of any hybrid.
Nickent 3dx ironwood- Appearance is good, just as playable as the adams, farther than adams
Both are the same price

What have you heard from the newest 4dx Nickents?

the adams idea pro is supposed to be the most used so I would give that a try
