I have played golf on and off for about 10 years, though ive never played more the about 8 times a year. I have gotten older and really jumped into the game over the last few months. I havent figured out my handycap and I rarely kept score, I find this is changing in me I want to know how good or bad I am doing, etc. So my game is nothing special in fact it is probably pretty bad, but I still enjoy being out on the course. Should I invest in some lesson, will it make a real impact on my game? Or should I just spend the money on greens fees and watch instructional video or two? I am gearing this to the players who like me probably plays 8-15 times a year (I hope to double that soon enough) have u all seen a big improvement in ur game? Thanks and sorry so long.

I went to a couple of diffrent driving ranges and talked to the pros. I explained that I play once a week at most thru the summer, roughly 10-12 rounds a year, and was not looking for a swing overhaul. I went with the guy who gave answers I felt comfortable with.
