Looking for advice to change my hybrid shaft.

I recently purchased a used RBZ 3 hybrid with a stock stiff shaft. My old Ping G5 3 hybrid it is replacing has a Fujikura E fit-on 380 HB flex-x.

Is it possible to take the Fuji out of the G5 and put it in the RBZ?

Would anyone recommend swapping out the stock RBZ shaft for the Fuji?

Would it be an upgrade even tho the Fuji is older?

Specifications on each shaft:

Shaft  Wt.  Torque  Trajectory  Tip  Butt
 RBZ Graphite 65 S.flex  65  3.0  High  .370  .600
 (G5) Fuji E380 HB X.flex  89  Low  Low-Mid  .335 (?)*  .600

RBZ shaft from current TM website

Fuji data from current Callaway hybrid link (custom shaft); can't guarantee*

  2006 version (G5) is .335

Not to rain on your parade, but if you use X-shaft, you probably should have gone with RBZ Tour model (heavier shaft, square rather than slight hook face).

I have driver swingspeed of about 85 mph, and I have a lot of hook misses with the standard RBZ hybrid. I've gone to a midsize grip to try to control it, but if I can't cure hooks by mid-April I may swap out the RBZ.

Do you have X-flex shafts on all your long clubs? You should ;probably get on a launch monitor to see best specs for the shaft.

I pulled the RBZ Tour Re*Ax shaft for a new Miyazaki C.Kua.

WU, thanks for the info, all of my other clubs are stiff, not x stiff. My buddy gave me the ping with the x stiff shaft already in it. I have hit the RBZ at the range a couple of times now and actually hit it pretty well. After hitting it a few more times and seeing your chart above the stock stiff will be staying attached.
