i have been searching anywhere and everywhere to find the right shaft. i just recently put a new fujikura motore F1 on my callaway x hot and it is great, but i really liked the Matrix 7M3 lack tie shaft, which was amazing. The only thing that set me away from the black tie was the price, $450+tax compaired to the fujikura $125+tax. The only difference that i found was i got 10 yrds more on the matrix. Now that i have found the shaft for my driver i am in search for a new shaft for my 3 wood, callaway x hot 15 degree. i am looking for a low to mid torque and a mid-high kick point. It is really hard for me to test out new shafts due to the fact that i am left handed and there is a lack of left handed gear in most fitting centers. i would like to hear some opinions on some shafts that i could check out. I use a stiff shaft and i could use the same fujikura motore F1 but i havent been able to test it some i am not sure how it would work. hope to hear a lot of opinions.

Given that you are looking to really fine-tune your shafts, go online and see if you can find a Callaway Performance Center in your area. Such a center likely would have left-handed clubs to test.

Here's a golf review site with a link to Callaway centers:

(My Internet connection is cloudy today, and I couldn't get any of the links to open).

FYI, I served active duty in the Marine Corps in the 1970s, and retired from the Reserves in 1997. Semper fi!
