Some time ago there was a chart that showed the difference in the golf manufactures  club shaft flex .It showed as a rule Callaway was normally very soft and Titlist were strong or stout in their  shafts .Is there more current information showing the difference between the companies definition of stff ,regular etc .?

Maltby used to rate shafts for golf works.  Based on swing speed it would assign a number giving you an idea of shaft flex.

Shaft stiffness is just one factor, torque, weight, flex point, etc. are also equally important when selecting a shaft.

The point is that you should always get fit by a qualified fitter when considering new shafts.

[edit] updated link to the MPF one that works
