How to post and embed pics?

I use photobucket for my pics and most of the time on other sites I click the IMG and it copys with no problem . On this site do I need to use the [IMG] pic then  [/IMG]  comand ? Also how do I edit posts , I don't see that on my options after a post .never mind I see the pencil now , uh what day is this  Thanks , The Dude .

Yes, the pencil.

If you're using the "Bare Bones Editor" (BB Code Editor) then the [img] tags will work.

However, the better option is to click the "image" button and paste the URL to the image itself (not to the page on which it is hosted) in. It looks like a picture and it's in your toolbar.

For example:

http://s993.photobucket.com/user/iacas/media/AnalyzrImageExport-3.jpg.html?o=2 - The page on Photobucket

Copy the "Direct" URL: http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af59/iacas/AnalyzrImageExport-3.jpg

Paste that into the "URL" area when you click the image icon:
