I'm an English teacher in Queretaro, Mexico - the safest and most prosperous city in the country, and one of the most beautiful. I teach Business English to managers and executives (I have also done that in Korea). Business is booming here, and there is no drug cartel crime whatsoever, although there is in almost all the surrounding states. Whatever behind-the-scenes deals are involved I do not know (although I've heard rumors), but Queretaro is a safe zone. I previously lived in Culiacan for three years - now that's the exact opposite, the epicenter of the drug traffic and the home base of the notorious Chapo Guzman. I also lived in Mexico City for a while, so no one could say that I haven't had a varied experience of Mexico!

I am not a golfer, only a fan, which might make me a rare bird in this forum. I follow the men's tours very seriously. I am especially interested in up-and-coming golfers, and I always actively track the top 200 players with the help of the OWGR website.

For my avatar I chose a shot of one of my favorite golfers, David Toms, whom I hope to see as a future Ryder Cup captain. I picked this shot because Toms is looking so supremely stylish, and golf fashion appeals to me. (Other faves in that department: Billy Horschel, Keegan Bradley, Luke Donald, Brian Gay, Ian Poulter, and of course the late great Payne Stewart.)
