Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

After some practice, looking at the hole instead of the ball for 12 foot putts, distance control is better?

I think I get why you're asking - there's TMI for us casual golfers. I just like to get a peek under the kimono sometimes. :-P

No, I was asking because I don't know if I want to spend 73 minutes learning stuff if it's stuff I already know or won't find interesting (or whatever).
