  1. I did in a way when I first started. I started playing after my brother was given two free passes for the driving range. In no time I was driving balls between the 200-250 markers. It felt good and people told me how good that was for my first time out. I thought I was the man so I went back again about a week later. Damn I was all over the place. I did hit some long ones but it wasn't easy the second time around. But I think it was the challange that made me want to stick with it. James
  2. I'm trying to get used to playing again while using a new set of clubs. At the range my average was 200 yards. Last time I went it was 260. With more then a few at 275 and about 3 that bounced beside the 300 yard rock. These were straight which made me really happy. At Golftown the other day I was testing some drivers on the computer and had an average of about 225 overall. I was hitting the Hibore 240. The next day I spent an hour testing more drivers and increased it to about a 260 average. I had lots in the 275 range and about 5 just over 280 with the longest being 282. With all that being said I picked 201 - 260 yards. I'm about 201-240 most times on the couse. My fairway shots were about 250+ today. The only problem was that was about 4 shots. If they would put the greens in the woods then I could use the 280+ long drives in the woods. James

    HD coverage

I had it on CBS here. On the regular station it seemed low quality. But they did an amazing job with the HD. James
  4. I don't think I have any, just some things I need to do before playing. I won't wear a watch while playing. I also empty my pockets (I always have to much change in my pockets and I keep my wallet in my front pocket) because it would drive me nuts. I only keep one tee in my left pocket. James
  5. TearDrop TD Select 411 My brother got me a great deal on it. I have played 9 holes with it so far. James
  6. I'm picking up some brush tees before I play next. I used one of my brothers last year and liked them. I borrowed one and gave it back to him after I played my 18. This year I tried his Zero Friction tees and I like them as well. I would have only used one if I didn't let someone else take a shot with one. I think they lost it. They hold up really well. I just find them a little harder to balance the ball on. Before them I used good ol wood tees. They worked fine but I prefer the brush tees. James
  7. This is one of the courses I play at. http://www.nsga.ns.ca/INDIANLAKE/IL.HTM James
  8. I am a partner in a detail shop and I own (just getting started) a used car dealership. James
