  2. If he grossed 1$ billion it would have to be reduced by a significant amount of business & professional expenses and of course taxes. If his divorce was in PA, Elin would be entitled to a property settlement, child support and possibly alimony. Don't know of all of these items were covered in a prenup. Tiger Woods is both a business and a celebrity so the property settlement could include his trademarked name and his celebrity value. The prenup probably covers these things. I hope 2011 turns out to be a record breaking year for him. I enjoy watching him play golf.
  3. I'm an armchair student of psychology so I think the first problem is not golf but dealing with the loss of sight in your right eye. An important question is when did it happened? My advice is to forget about score and only play practice rounds or if it's too early for that, just go to the driving range for a while. It's very possible that another aspect of the game will improve with time; i.e. feel, better perception of your swing path, etc. Give it time and don't pressure yourself.
  4. I was wondering the same. Here's the Wiki on Quail Hollow> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quail_Hollow_Championship
  5. Since I restarted playing last year I can only comment on the Callaway Diablo. They are easy I can't believe it's me hitting the ball (as compared to my old McGregor Persimmons). Now that Callaway has come out with the Diablo Edge, the old Diablo has been reduced in price. http://www.golfgalaxy.com/galaxy/sea...Q7D3UKKV8LCPKC
  6. This topic is covered in Golf Magazine's "The Best Instruction Book Ever!" I don't have it handy right now, but it cited a study which revealed that the experimental group (looking at the hole) got closer the the hole on long putts of about 25 feet or more than the control group (looking at the ball). If anyone's interested, I can scan and post the pages from the book on this thread.
  7. I remember them from way back in the 80's. Didn't know they were still around.
  8. Yesterday there was a video of him practising. It was on CNN but now I can't find it. Anyway, it was nice to hear many of the fans cheering him. I think he is going to be very well and more received as the week goes on. That's the way it should be. This is about golf. Everything else, IMO, is irrelevant.
  9. I'm curious about what clubs you are using now. Otherwise, I suggest you use the MPs once in a while, read up on grip care http://www.lamkingrips.com/Grip_Care.php , and don't expose the clubs to extreme temps.
  10. The golf channel has the video of her grounding her club: http://www.thegolfchannel.com/golf-v...26000&rsec;=210
  11. She attended an elite college prep school: Punahou School. Obama also graduated from Punahou. Here's the Wiki on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punahou_School
  12. CBS expects Tiger's return to be among biggest events of decade http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...ods/index.html
  13. This is great news and it all makes sense. Augusta is all about golf and that's the way it should be. I just want to watch him play golf and don't care about anything else.
  14. I had a similar experience with Dick's and I understand how you feel. My take on your situation is that there were (almost) 3 parties at fault: the manufacturer, the GG store; and, GG corporate. In my case with Dick's I got screwed out of $30 in shipping charges. I also had a similar experience with a local driving range on a special order. Going forward (based on my personal experience) I would never special order a club or major purchase from any big box store without getting a receipt with the stipulation that the order is null and void if the delivery was later than promised. I get mental on these issues also. I don't think I would special order anything from anyone except direct from Callaway. Anyway, I feel your aggravation.
  15. Just want to thank Chilli Dipper for those 2 videos. Very helpful.
