Shaft Question

Hello, can anyone recommend a modern day shaft that has similar characteristics to a graphite design ys-6  msi-70 R flex that was used in the Titleist 983? I want to swap out the shaft in my 915d2. Current shaft in the 915 is a Diamana 60 S flex. Thanks in advance

Graphite Design still makes the YS series, just updated with more modern materials. That's probably not a bad starting point. From memory the old YS-6 was 65g, mid bend, 3.7 torque, and a bit soft compared with the other stock Titleist offerings. I can list off a number of shafts that could work and be similar if you want to go in a different direction from the YS, would just need to know a price point.

      PGA Tour Makes Sweeping Changes Starting in 2028

      Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.

      I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
