Anyone know of any good public courses within half an hour of Brandenton, Florida? Will be visiting this weekend.

Imperial Lakewoods Golf Club looks like a a good deal...

Thanks.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

definitely doesn't fit the half-hour requirement, but if you had the time in your schedule, a trip north to the World Woods/Pine Barrens track is supposed to be great.

I'm making it out there on Tuesday myself.
