Bought a set of Tommy Armour 845s irons 3-SW in perfect condition.  Love trying out older irons

That's awesome!  I see those 845 SilverScots a lot in used racks.  Great irons!

I'm still playing 15 year old Ping i3+ irons, and even though they are ancient (by today's standards) they still work and still get the job done.

The 845s was the hot club in its day. I went to the store to buy a set and they were out. I actually waited for the UPS truck to show up and when it did with no 845's on board, I bought Titleist DCI's.

Do a search here on TST. A few years back I asked people how good an iron the 845s were, and I got more than a hundred replies.

Focus, connect and follow through!

I played 845s for 20 years. What an incredible club. I bought a set of AP1s this year to replace them but I still miss the 845s. I doubt I'll ever sell them, great clubs. I am tempted to go back to them at times.
