Yesterday, in between shots, (golf shots) another guy, and I were talking about pro golfers, and their swing gurus.

In part we talked about how you don't hear too much about the various instructors, unless of course, you are tuned into a golf specific media.

One of our topics we couldn't quite figure out was how much of a pga golfer's success was due to the coaching of their swing guru?

Obviously the pga player has to have the talent to hit the shots they are coached to hit.

We also talked about the player having the wrong coach, and vice versa.

We talked about how some players blame others for their poor play, both coaches, and caddies. Even other players. Is it part of the coach's job to be the whipping post of blame?.

If it keeps the golfer in the right state of mind during the tournament then so be it. 😛

Probably varies greatly.
