Do You Play in Golf Tournaments?

Curious about how many TST members participate in golf tournaments. Are tournaments important to your enjoyment of the game?

I play in every tournament at my club. Depending on how you want to quantify what a tournament is, I play in the weekly match play, the weekly skins game, the yearly club championship, the yearly Member/Guest tournament, the spring and fall scramble tournaments, and some out of the norm tournaments, such as the Battle of the Sexes (men against women match play), a shootout tournament, and the various holiday couples tournaments. When I first started, I used to shy away from tournaments, figuring I wasn't good enough to compete, then realized, the only way to get good enough to compete is to compete.
