I am currently using TheGrint app non-PRO member (Free Version). I believe the app is very easy to start a round of golf. It is easy to track your score and you can keep up to 20 score cards with the free version. You can link up with other fellow golfers who use the app and can send them message when they start a new round of golf. On the stats side you can track your handicap, scoring average, average putts%, driving accuracy by hit% average, average grints per round (eagles, birdies, Pars, etc.), greens in regulation, approach accuracy hit & misses averages, match play index, penalties, scrambling (must golf golfers linkedin thegrint to use this feature), shot distances and putts make % . there are other feature sets but i do not use them or they are not free. You can link up to your home course and build a bucket list of course you want to play. I am thinking about buying the PRO version but am looking to see what others are using.

For 3 seasons I've used Arccos. I started with the plugs in the back of the club. The next season I gave the plugs to my dad and installed the Arccos grips. The next season I bought Cobra Connect Midsized grips and moved the sensors over into those grips. I really have no complaints about the free Arccos app and either version of the sensors. I loved the data, I enjoyed the ability to relive any round you've played. Etc... I found the app fast, easy to use, accurate, and most people I played with had no idea I was using it.

I will say this IN MY OPINION the Arccos Caddie is worthless. The idea is that it recommends a club to you for every shot. But if you've been using Arccos for any length of time you don't need its recommendation. "Let's see I'm 155 out, my Arccos Caddie is recommending an 8 iron.... Hmmm... well would you look at that, my average 8 iron is 155." Kind of useless again, IN MY OPINION.

During that time, however, I've also used the 18 birdies app. When I travel and rent clubs or when I've been tinkering with new grips and don't use Arccos. The 18 Birdies App was promoted by Tony Finau, Me and My Golf, and Paige Spiranac for a while there and they would often post on the message board part of the app. But I think that's kind of gone away now. The apps good. It lets you set goals for the season and for each particular round you play. It's also free for most of it. And allows you to decide just how much of it you want to use.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.
