I was walking up to the driving range and I said to myself, "someone's hitting a Cleveland HiBore XL". I was right on, and I'm not exactly knowledgeable about drivers. A guy was hitting the HiBore and every shot sounded like a cannon, except he was slicing them, hooking them, hitting worm burners, and skying them off the top. Every shot sounded the same, and about 100db to boot. It's a shame because I like the looks of that driver and I do appreciate getting aural feedback when I boom one or hit a bad shot.

Yeah, it is pretty loud in the beginning but after a little while I got used to it. And if anyone thinks that the XL is really loud they mustn't have ever heard the Dunlop Loco that John Daly sponsored a few years ago. The thing was a beast when it came to sound. Almost annoying.
