Kids Do NOT Play Pinehurst's Cradle Course for Free

The tweet and the text (from the page at https://www.pinehurst.com/golf/courses/cradle-short-course/) says that children 17 and under play for free with a paying adult.

But, when you call to book a tee time, you're told (and you will pay) either $15 or $20 for children to play.

How is this not extremely false advertising?

I don't know. And as my Tweet says, $20 is a fair price, but it's also not "free."

It's a bait and switch in my book. Hopefully they changed it recently and just haven't updated their site. Did you play it?

I am pretty sure a friend played it last summer and paid for his child, too.

I've played it twice. We played it the first time the third day it was open.
