HI guys,

I just came from my local golf shop.I tried the new Adams XTD A3 and although it was into a net, the club feels solid and looks good. From what I understand the A3 is a 2 Degree closed model which is great for me since I draw the ball. The pro model is supposed to be 2 degree's open, but has a far superior shaft. My question is with the club being 2 degrees hope how tough will it be for me to turn the ball over and play my normal draw. .

Thanks.

PS ive not hit a pro model driver with the open club face yet

Try it out and see what you think.

If nothing else, it doesn't cost that much (relatively speaking) to stick a new shaft into the driver head you like.

You still have to pay for the replacement shaft though. If it feels good, what else really matters.

Hello, I just tried the new Taylormade Driver pro model that had a 2* open face a few days ago.I hit everything with a slight fade. When I tried to really draw one,I would snap hook it.It probably depends on each golfer and the shaft,I would just find a demo and try it out.The shaft is going to be the key.

I just bought the Hibore XL Tour (1* open). The closest thing to a draw for me is a pull now. My normal shot is a fade, but I could pull off a slight draw with my old Rapture. I also went from a 10.5* to a 9.5* so that make a difference too. I will say the my fades no longer kick right after hitting the fairway...so it's more of a power fade now with significant less spin. I'm happy.
