I was wondering if this is a good deal or not, if not can you guys point to a place where i can find one cheaper.

X-Stiff shaft. Unless you know that's the right shaft for you, this isn't a good deal - it'll cost you a bit more to get the right shaft and re-shaft it.

A club that isn't right for you is a bad deal at almost any price.

I was told at my local simulator that a x-stiff shaft is right for me, because my swing speed is between 113-120 mph
Right now I am hitting a cleveland hibore xl with a stiff flex shaft and just cannot hit it consistently, i want something with a little bit of adjustment

In that case, I don't know if the club is a good deal or not. Others will be able to. But I guarantee that someone would've asked about the shaft if I hadn't.

Posting it here is a two edged sword..
You get some good feedback and opinions from people who may have used them.

but...

If it was a good deal, someone would have snatched it up.

If you actually play to a 32 handicap than this is probably not the club for you. There are game improvement drivers that you would have better luck with.

But if you are looking for a performance driver than I guess the superquad is a good choice but you can get them off of ebay for $190 in "very good condition"

The easy way to find out whether it is a "deal" is to look at "completed listings" or the same product and see whether it has sold for less (or more) previously. This link below shows this view (not in Canada though...you'd have to start on ebay.ca or somesuch - I see the CAD reached parity with USD).

http://search-completed.ebay.com/r7-...saobfmtsZinsif This shows me a whole bunch were bought at $240 NEW - even with buy-it-now. I suggest your price is too high.

    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
    • Day 288 6-17 Low point control without ball. hit quite a few swing where i was wanting the club to hit the ground.  Added a ball with towel behind it, just to see where im at. Wasn't horrible but need some more work. Pretty much full speed swings.
    • Current state of the program.  I can only do 25-50% swing speed, probably under 50% since I was hitting the ball out to the 150 yard marker (yay!),  to get the arms down and somewhat turn the body through impact. I mean somewhat. Arms down + body turn don't like to mesh at all. Anything faster and the body does stupid uncoordinated stuff. Mostly, I am stuck in the old pattern of staling the turn and flipping at the ball.  So, until I see progress. I am not posting anything here.
    • Thanks for the video! Do you think a ball between the arms type of training aid would get me in a better position? I also have a Tour Striker Swing Trainer (PlaneMate-like contraption) if that could be helpful.
    • There are some little things here and there — the shoulder turn is a bit flat, and the arms move around you a bit too much too. Take a look at this video:
