I currently have 4 wedges in my bag and a good practice drill for me is the 90/90 drill or the 3 o'clock 9'oclock drill...just practice your wedges with taking that club back picturing facing a clock to 3 O'clock (or 90 degree wrists) through to 9 O'clock (same 90 degree on follow through) while following through to target, you'll get a good feel as to how your clubs react and the distances you get

LSU-Don,
My inside 100 shots seemed to improve when I quit routing for the wrong college football team. Just a thought.

i play my 60 degree wedge for all shots under 100

Two scenerios: 1. You hit a 3 wood or less to 100 yards and make birdie or at worst par because you hit it to a distance you are comfortable with.

2. You bust a big drive to 50 yards out and because you can't seem to hit a 50 yard shot, you make bogey. Par if you get up and down. I think it is obvious. You dont have to prove you can hit it 300 yards on every hole if it doesnt call for it. YOU know you can hit it that far. Save it for when it is needed. I say you focus on swing speed, but make sure to still accelerate through the ball.
