What's the Pros and Cons (non-square models):

Swingweight/feel, distance, workability, sound off the face, forgiveness, etc

I have currently got the 460 (original) and a good friend has the tour version of the same, smae shaft and loft.

Having hit all of Nike's drivers i have to say for general use the original is the best, especially in terms of sound, the new ones sound awful. Although undeniably the new models are more forgiving, this is something i am not necessarily looking for, and when you are using 460cc of clubhead, there is plenty of room for error already.

If you are someone who slices, steer away from the tour version as it is designed to be more workable, hence it will slice more.

It is just a matter of trying them out and seeing, but my opinion is that the original is the best

Best sound
Great feel
Great workability and very forgiving
Great distance

Driver - 905r 9.5* with UST Proforce VT Stiff
3 Wood - SQ 3+ 13* with Grafallloy prolaunch blue Stiff
5 Wood - SQ 5* 19 with Aldila NV65 stiff
Irons - MP 67 3 + 5-PW 2deg Up + 1/2" with DG S300 shaft.
Wedges - SV 52/10 with true temper s400 BV Spin Milled 56/10 Wedge Flex BV Spin Milled 60/04...

I believe the Tour doesnt have a closed face...I know the sumo has a higher MOI than the original

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

I have the Sasquatch 460

I love the sound, its not too quiet or too loud. And it makes a nice classic PING that you'd like to hear. I really dont know much about forgiveness, but on a mis-hit it seems to Still give you the distance you'd like, but obviouslly not the accuracy you'd like.

The Driver makes the ball very workable, and Distance is a whole nother story! WOW very impressed with the ammount of distance it can give you. The driver also feels very very light to me, and very easy to swing.

      Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.

      This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score

      Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage.       Things that I am or have worked on... 1.    Trail Elbow - Check 2.    Hip Turn - Check 3.    Rolled Inside - Check 4.    Wide Takeaway - Check 5.    Sway and Tilt - Nope, but I did a hip turn and tilt 🤣 I am giving myself 4.5/5 for my long backswing.  Great post!

      We have a very difficult but mostly showy course this week. Lets see what they got. This course offers so many chances to get into trouble it is really a mental minefield. I am excited to see who can handle it and who cant. Last year we got a foreshadowing of JJ and Rory, I am excited for this year Who do people have winning? what will the winning score be? I am thinking 12 or 13 under
