And that's probably where it happens the most...

Well technically yes, but I have never said, "I made an eagle one time", I say "I had a hole in one", or "I had an Ace!!", but you wouldn't understand

And that's probably where it happens the most...

I doubt it, I am sure there way more eagles on par 5's than par 3's.

I had one on a par 3 110 yards out, hit a half pitching wedge. Pretty exciting considering it came within 6 months of picking up the game of golf. Luckily I had a buddy come out with me that morning, or else no one would believe me as we got paired up with another twosome.

To those who have gotten a hole in one, do you frame the ball or do something special with it? If you tell the people in the proshop, will they do anything special or not?

You can buy a shadow box, they make all types or you can get a custom made to hold the ball, the scorecard, certificate, or whatever else you want to frame(tee, glove, socks

). In Virginia, the VSGA will give you a certificate for it, you have to have 2 witnesses and the Pro at the course sign for it. The Pro at the course took my name down, congratulated me and a few days later it was in the newspaper in the fine print of the local "other" sports news.

At the course I play most often, you get your name up on their "wall of Aces."

Man, would I like to see my name up there! Maybe this is my year!!!
