I've been Playing Golf for: Just started playing properly - got my first lesson on Thursday.
My current handicap index or average score is: N/A
My typical ball flight is: Variable... lol
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: EARLY EXTENSION

I've just started playing golf properly and have my first lesson on Thursday. I'm sure there is  alot wrong going on but one thing I've noticed is a very noticeable early extension. Appreciate there aren't many angles / views but could somehow help me diagnose? Thanks!!

Greetings! Good to see your post. Best wishes on your lessons. Your instructor will be able to start you down the road to correcting the early extension that you mentioned. The video is a bit hard to see. You may want to record in slow-mo. There is a page on this site that explains the best way to record your swing and the camera location. (I had issues with this too).
