i went to the us open last year and did not like it at all i really on got to see like 10 shots so i am just going to stick to watshing golf tournaments on tv.

the best days to go are the practice days..less crowds, and the players are more sociable usually and tend to experiment with a variety of different shots.

My partner also went there and said the same. However I went to Augusta last year and saw everything. Was a few feet from many golfers on the ropes. Augusta doesn't have that overwelming crowd. Ticket sales are limited. The first player I saw appologized for " waking me with an iron shot right to my feet!
