Re-Use Same Shafts?

I'm considering doing some plating on my old irons (I know the chemical processes involved), and obviously the best finishes would be if I took the head off the shafts.

My question might be daft, but I presume I can just reattach my iron heads to the same shafts, and I don't need to buy new ones?

If they are steel shafts than it's pretty easy. You will want to get new ferrules, however.

If they are graphite shafts it can be done, but you'll need to be a lot more careful. 

You will also need 2-part epoxy. They make some especially for golf clubs and if you are a beginner at club-building I'd suggest using that. 

There are tons of Youtube videos on the subject. IMO - The best ones are done by McGolf Custom Clubs.
